E. CHINA C began in Okinawa, in an apartment overlooking the East China Sea. They've lived mostly in southern and central parts of Arizona, since then, and have settled in the high-desert wildlands east of Whetstone. After two earlier, several-year periods of activity, the band resumed performing and composing in 2014. Songs by the Coral Company and All-Naturals Band are wanderings and wonderings. Stumbling forward often clueless through tonality, musical genres, and language To experience and learn. And, occasionally, sprinkle a few seeds of irreverence. The band gives many thanks to the late Ruth Wulpi Meenan who taught piano and music theory in Tucson, Arizona. |
